Yeah, I was experimenting with 50 FPS streaming and recording on OBS. Admittedly, it didn’t look good at all. I did switch back to 30 FPS, and made other quality setting tweaks with OBS.

Exactly! Many or most people back then did prefer the Reel Tape quality sound; if they could afford it. Unfortunately, they couldn’t afford it very easily. 🙁

@@ChrisCromwellHP I could only afford a few tapes and they were hard to find. I had a decent turntable, an AR-XA with a Shure cartridge but, the first time I heard Led Zeppelin on reel to reel I was blown away.

@michaelbradley7595 I would believe you! Reel To Reel Tapes were the analog CD’s of their day, and as close as you could get to the master studio tape. I would listen to a particular old Reel Tape, and be amazed at how well it still sounds!

Yeah, I get it. I don’t have much of a choice in the matter, if I want to keep my monthly subscription rate low; with Live365. It’s a good $275+ a month to Live365 if I want to turn ads off. Otherwise, I’m obligated to run their ads.

There wasn’t anything else quite like it that I could find. XM On The Rocks was an inspiration for me to start my own internet radio station. It’s a themed beautiful easy listening music station, centered around the American Airlines Popular Music Reel Tapes; from the early Jet Set Era. The majority of the music library is all from Reel To Reel Tapes. A good mixture of Easy Listening, Exotica, Bossa Nova, and Euro-Lounge music. Christmas music from the Jet Set Era plays during the holiday season. This is as close to On The Rocks you can get, but an extension of it. You can listen to WJST Jet Set Radio on your smartphone, tablet, PC, Alexa Skill, and Roku; it’s also on many streaming radio apps. It’s too long ago to remember. But if you call Crutchfield customer service, or sales, just tell them what your working on. They can track down the correct wire harness adapter for you. There will be different adapter harness’s for different options used in the vehicle. But Crutchfield can help you better than me. I used different harness adapters for the subwoofer system, steering wheel buttons, and bypassing the original CD Changer that’s in the trunk.

It’s a real video taken from inside an aircraft, the camera is just pointed out the window. With the music, you can use your imagination with the video, to be a journey to anywhere in the world. There’s no set destination, it’s to give you an experience of traveling during the Jet Set Era; back when airlines had music playing with headphones. It’s not a computer simulator or game. Yes, this would sound a lot smoother if I was using my professional editing software on my PC; but I didn’t have any of that at the time. The whole thing was pieced together in 8.5+ hours. With many dubbed tape copies cut and moved over, ***only using the vast editing features on my Sony Minidisc player; MDS-JE510. Meaning, I recorded several or more copies of this song from cassette tape to my Minidisc player, and edited everything on just that. Editing solely by ear, a small editing knob and a few buttons, there was limitations to where I could splice the music; without destroying the track entirely causing an error. The Sony MDS JE510 didn’t offer a fade feature for spliced editing. There was a few abrupt cuts, but overall to the less technical listener, it came out pretty good I think. I couldn’t improve it any further without completely starting over. But thanks for listening and commenting. Did I have any sort of music studio editing experience or education, no. I have been doing it all myself.

@@ChrisCromwellHP In hindsight, I've learned that doing everything yourself is the path the mastery. I can relate, having discovered this on my own and have been there in the past when I was working with similar technical or knowledge constraints, with physical equipment or manual processes, not knowing the theory that could be liberating until after the fact. So, this is a really great result with that factored in. You do this long enough and self-master that you can do the essential edits/splices for the last 3 videos I have uploaded on my channel in 30-40 minutes (the fine details and video portions) are time consuming). But the full recorded video game soundtrack splices were all done by hand and were more time intensive. Those used audio editing applications with surgical precision, to be fair. I look at this effort as not wasted; it went into your toolbox of experience that can be applied to future projects. Even project that have failed from RUclips content ID conflicts have not been wasted. You can take down a video, but you can't take down knowledge, experience and ideas. Is Elvis' effort in this song wasted by walking through the south looking for something or someone, that in the end, didn't really matter? In the effort, he probably found what he didn't know he needed.

If you’re referring to the large black plastic housing cover, there’s metal clips along the metal firewall edge. Remove those clips, and the plastic cover should lift up, if you have already removed the wiper arms first.

The song is called, "Summer Me, Winter Me". As far as the orchestra's name, I have no idea at all. Google Music Search and Shazam don't know what an easy listening orchestra is; for some reason. Anyway, I hope this helps a little. The song was made most famous by Frank Sinatra and later, Barbara Streisand in the early 70's.
